Hop Winners!

Hi Everyone! I am so sorry – I completely forgot to post my winners yesterday! We had a TON of wonderful feedback about the new die/stamp sets, and I hope you all had TONS of fun hopping along! Someone asked what type of ink I used to stamp my faces, and I used Versafine! I love how crisp my lines came out, but I don’t use it with Copics because it smeared! On Tsukineko’s website it does say it won’t bleed, but I have found that is either not the case, or I didn’t wait long enough to dry? The quickest drying ink (that won’t bleed) I have found for use with Copic markers  is the Memento line by Tsukineko. Peachy Keen carries it on their online shop! I had planned to make something else for you all, but as we were prepping for CHA all of last week, I hardly found time to eat! ;) Don’t worry, there will be something special for you all VERY soon!  Here are the winners!

The winner of the $15 Peachy Keen Stamps Gift Certificate is……… XOCHITL!!!

Oh my goodness. This card is sooooo super sweet!! Those flowers are just the sweetest ever!! These dies/stamps are going to be a huge hit. Thanks for helping to preview them for us. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!!

Last, but certainly NOT least, The Scrapping Cottage has generously donated one of the Tear Kitty die sets to one of my lucky winners!!! This die set comes with all the parts for a little cat and 3 adorable face stamps! The winner of the Tear Kitty set is …….. JENNIFER PARTRIDGE!

Angelica,

Too cute!!! :) I agree…it is much quicker to combine die cuts with stamps (although I will always do some stamping & coloring in when time permits, because I find that really relaxing, too)!

Thanks for sharing and the chance to win such a great prize,

Jennifer

Hoppin’ for New Dies by Peachy Keen Stamps and CottageCutz!

Good Morning everyone! Thanks so much for coming by – we ARE BEYOND excited about these new dies Peachy Keen Stamps designed for CottageCutz! I made this card with the Potted Flower die, Extra Small Polka Dots stamp from Peachy Keen, and the sentiment is from Ain’t No Sunshine by Market Street Stamps. I already love this as a stamp set, but, as a mom of two toddlers, I am limited on my crafting time. Running paper through a die and sprucing it up with chalk or ink takes me about half the time it normally would to color in my image. {Don’t get me wrong, you’re not getting those Copic markers out my hands any time soon!} I used just some basic color cardstock and cut out two pieces for each flower part. I popped one layer with dimensionals to give it a 3D effect, and colored my pieces just by inking along the edges with Colorbox pigment ink (love that stuff, messy as it is). I hope to have more projects for you this week, so make sure you subscribe to my blog by either clicking the RSS Feed icon on my right side bar or by entering your email address to have my updates come directly to your inbox. :)

Don't they look like a happy pair?
