Good Morning Everyone! Heidi at Got Scraps has put a Royal Wedding Blog hop for us {anything related to love, weddings, royalty, princes and princesses) and I’m thrilled to be hopping along with some of my Peachy sisters and some of our Peachy friends! If you’ve just hopped from Kathy {my mama!} then you’re doing just fine. If not, and you want to start at the beginning, head back over to Heidi’s blog to get started.
I normally never post anything I’m not completely satisfied with, but as I was running short on time, I had no choice but to put up a card that I wasn’t 100% thrilled with. That doesn’t mean that it wasn’t fun to make, though!
I used Perfect Pearls for the first time, and let me tell you, they are so versatile! They can be used in a mister, painted when mixed with water, or used dry with an embossing ink, which is what I did here.
Unfortunately, the shimmer doesn’t show completely and it appears some areas are covered better than others. That’s only because of the photo – I couldn’t get a great picture of this one.
I used Gold Metallic cardstock as my base and used it for my larger shape. I used “Heirloom Gold” Perfect Pearls for the stamped background {Punched Tin by Market Street Stamps} and the “Mr & Mrs.” sentiment from Unity Stamps.
Thanks for stopping by, your next stop is the sweet & talented Glora! I’m sure she’s come up with something super cute for you! Happy Wedding Day Kate & William!
