Wow, 4 days in a row. I amaze myself. Heh. Anyway, here are my penguin homeboys that are outside of my house. I love them, and though we can’t compete with the neighborhood Griswalds across the street, they always bring a smile to my face.

Our first {cold} snowfall!! I had to snap a picture quickly before it melted. Just before I could get my camera out, big snowflakes were coming down in what looked like big cotton balls coming down from the sky. Wish I could’ve grabbed my camera sooner when Lucy was staring out the window completely amazed. Next time.

Day 2 of the December photo challenge and I am still working on this blog! Hopefully soon it will beautiful! I am having trouble adding the badge for the December photo link on my side bar, I think it may have something to do with the theme I am using. I could see it on my phone but not on Firefox or Safari? Weird.
Anyway, we still don’t have all our Christmas decorations up, but Jorge did get the lights strung on the tree, and there is something magical about lighting up a Christmas tree, isn’t there? {Sigh} I just LOVE this time of year! We even got a sprinkling of snow today. Lucy was most excited.

Since I haven’t managed to find time to craft anything in the last week or so, I thought I’d start my blog off with a different type of challenge – a photo challenge. Since I’m starting Dec 2nd, I will be off by a day (and it will drive me insane) but I think I’ll probably just post two photos New Year’s Eve or two on Christmas. This first image is of my favorite corner in my kitchen (yes, I really painted my kitchen that color – on purpose!) These little cocinas bring me to my happy place – and make me wish I was eating some tamales. :)
