Music Mondays {Rolling in the Deep WINNER} and Market Street Sneak Peeks!

Hi Everyone! Whew – what a weekend! We went from having nice temperatures in the 30′s (even low 40′s) to getting completely pummeled with a winter storm last night! My hubby was outside snow blowing for about 45 minutes.

Erin & I are having a by week for Music Mondays {next challenge posted next Monday} but I’m excited to let you know who won the “Heart Attack” Distresser & Tim Holtz Trimmings…

Random.org chose…

11. That’z Uneek (Jess B.)!

Congratulations, Jess!! You can email me {handmadebyangelica at gmail dot com} or I’ll email you tomorrow to be sure I have the address you want your goodies shipped to. :)

On a quick other note, it’s release week at Market Street Stamps! I made an impromptu sneak peek card (even though it wasn’t my technically my day.) I just love how this background came out and I know it is one I will turn to again and again. Who doesn’t love damask – distressed damask, to be exact.

As you can see, I am currently OBSESSED with making my own handmade flowers in a variety of different ways. Today I decided to try my first “ribbon rosette”. I started by tying the end of a piece of satin ribbon and trimming off the end.

Then, I applied a Glue Dot to the center of a punched circle that matched my background. By twisting and wrapping, I formed a rosette that I simply glued at the end and tucked under for a complete secure bloom. I am still patiently awaiting my “Glubers” (new from EK Success and Cosmo Cricket. They’re giant glue dots), so until then, I went on a Glue Dot rampage and used about 10-12 to secure this flower. :) Hope you like it!

If the boots fit…Cackle!

Nestled in the lavender, near the young pear tree, a little witch smiles with glee! This adorable stamp set is one of the four image sets released from Peachy Keen last week! I had a lot of fun with my Blog Hop card, and knew I wanted to do a similar style with this witch (my favorite set in this release, by the way!) but also wanted to kick it up a notch! So here you have her! :) (click to see larger image)
